Yes, the entrée is basically the heart of the meal… the main event, as it were. And, frankly, there will be some healthier foods here (as opposed to the Desserts). It’s necessary. A main dish, or entrée, is the point of the meal. Most importantly, though, one must properly assess what a “serving” is…
An ever growing list of main dishes (including the whole enchilada):
- Baked Oatmeal (don’t knock it ’til you try it–for breakfast or dinner)
- Beef Tender (my family’s Christmas dinner for years now, thank you Mrs. Flay)
- Chicken Enchiladas a la Mi Mama
- Chicken Mole a la Marisol
- Crack Pork (a.k.a. Spicy Island Pork)
- Lasagna (a lot of work, but worth every bite!)
- Santa Maria Tri-Tip a la Mi Papa
- Spaghetti and Meatballs, the kids’ spaghetti
- Tacos Carne Asada (and Mojo marinade and Pico de Gallo)
